Over the past decade, Morristown Medical Center’s Emergency Department has seen a 30% increase in patient volume. This is a reflection of the rising demand for all types of medical services underscoring the critical need to expand the hospital. If we don’t, our community risks facing longer wait times, reduced access to the exceptional care we have come to rely upon, and other consequences of strained facilities.
Strengthening our local workforce
Beyond health care, this expansion directly impacts our local workforce. County College of Morris — CCM — is one of the leading providers of nurses, respiratory therapists, radiography therapy assistants and other medical professionals who keep hospitals like Morristown Medical Center running.
